Woman: “Vitamins, Darling! I always get my vitamins.”
Advertising with women I personally believe has become more
vulgar. Before, it seemed to appear to be completely and horribly sexist. Like the
ad above; “So the harder a wife works, the cuter she looks.” In that statement
it shows how woman were house wife’s and suppose to do all the work around the
house so that when their husbands came home they could cater to them. Or the
second ad stating; “keep her where she belongs….” Well first, where exactly
does she belong? It seems as though they
are implying, if you want your wife to stick around and be a house wife, you
need to buy her lavishing things.

With this being stated, ads really haven’t seemed to change
much, other than making a woman out to be a total whore. These ads truly show
the different roles the males and females play in ads. For a man to sell a
product well he dresses classy. For a woman to sell a product well, they must
degrade themselves.
